Recently, Lei Shing Hong Machinery(LSHM) successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for three CAT? 3516E MG generator sets and one CAT? C32HG generator set supplied for the 5,000-ton fixed-arm lifting and transport barge project of Zhenhua Heavy Industry. The successful completion of this FAT effectively validates the performance and quality of the equipment, laying a solid foundation for subsequent equipment delivery and the overall progress of the project.

Prior to the commencement of testing, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions regarding project progress and the testing procedures.Following the meeting, the clients visited the energy workshop to observe the integrated generator sets and proceeded to the testing area, where they witnessed key FAT stages including pre-inspection, safety and security tests, load testing, and performance characteristic evaluations. The FAT acceptance process involved multiple stakeholders, including representatives from the shipowner, Drydocks World Dubai, and Zhenhua Shipyard. Shang Shijie, General Manager of Marine Sales at LSHM, led the team in warmly receiving the visiting delegates.

Ultimately, LSHM earned high recognition from the client for its professional service and robust technical expertise, with the quality and professionalism of its equipment also receiving full affirmation from the customer.

The 5,000-ton fixed-arm crane barge project was fully undertaken by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (ZPMC), responsible for its design, procurement, construction, and maritime transportation. The vessel measures 138.5 meters in length and 52 meters in width, with a designed draft of 5.8 meters and a capacity for 58 crew members. It is equipped with a 5,000-ton main hook (lifting height: 120 meters) and a 600-ton auxiliary hook (lifting height: 180 meters), and features an anchor mooring positioning system. Designed for diverse operational scenarios including offshore module installation, wind power installation, bridge hoisting, and assembly of large engineering vessels, the vessel's configuration aligns seamlessly with the application of CAT? generator sets.

The successful completion of this Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) has not only established a strong collaborative bridge between LSHM and Zhenhua Heavy Industries as well as the shipowner, but has also further enhanced the clients' recognition of its professional services and technical capabilities.
